Handwritten letter to Edgar Collin

Dear Mr Collin[1] !
Eight days ago I took the liberty of sending you a translation of a German newspaper article dealing with my weighing and measuring work, in addition to excerpts from another similar article. Since these articles have not been returned, I take it that I can expect them to be accepted for publishing in “Dagbladet”[2]. I would be particularly happy if the expected publication were to take place during the next few days.
[1] JMC: In the original letter RMH uses two titles simultaneously for Edgar Collins, addressing him as “Mr journalist, graduate Collin”. These titles have been left out in the translation. We don’t know whether Edgar Collins had an academic degree, and we also don’t know his official title. In a previous message, RMH addressed him as “Literat Collin”, which translates as “man of letters” – an educated person.
[2] CB/SA: It seems that Edgar Collin served as a journalist at two major newspapers at the same time, ”Dagbladet” and ”Nationaltidende” (both papers were owned by Jean Christian Ferslew (1836-1910))
